Through studies, research remits, nationwide surveys and database analyses the DOV regularly calculates the latest figures and trends relating to the development of the orchestral landscape in Germany.

Alternating on an annual basis, the DOV compiles concert statistics and statistics on orchestras/tenured positions and generally publishes these at its annual press conference. More
